Did you know we have a Community Development Donations Program? Here at the Co-op we love to support our local community and are proud to announce one of our most recent donations going to the Wee Ones Childcare Centre through the South Slocan and Area Childcare Society. They pride themselves on providing holistic, child-led education care. Part of raising engaged and healthy little humans is learning about plants, food and biodiversity. They are purchasing a Tower Garden Growing System for their childcare center so the children can learn the life cycle of food plants from seed germination, all the way through to harvesting and enjoying the vegetables they grow.
