ActionsThe Slocan Valley Co-op offers bulk fuel delivery. Farmers, commercial business, or private individuals all qualify for bulk fuel delivery, including dyed product, oil, and lubricants. We provide competitive rates for commercial clients PLUS Member Rewards with Annual Co-op Equity and Cash Back! We currently serve Creston, Beaverdell, Midway, Grandforks, Castlegar, Trail, Slocan Valley, Trout Lake, Edgewood, Nelson, Kaslo, Crawford Bay and everywhere in-between!
Our members are the owners of the Co-op. They benefit from doing business with their Co-op by receiving annual equity and cash as a percentage of their purchases. YOU CAN ORDER BULK FUEL, OIL AND LUBRICANTS IN TWO WAYS:
1) BECOME A MEMBER AND RECEIVE EQUITY AND CASH BACK REWARDS
1a) Fill out the Online Membership form. Anyone over the age of 16 can apply for a Slocan Valley Co-op membership to become a member-owner for a one-time investment of $25.00 - which is your new equity balance as a member-owner of the Slocan Valley Co-operative! If you do not required dyed fuel you can go straight to section 1C below.
1b) Fill out a FIN430 form or FIN458 if you have farm status — If you require access to Dyed (Colored or Marked) Fuel, the Government of British Columbia requires a declaration of use for dyed fuel products on what is referred to as their Colored Fuel Certification Form FIN430 to quality for a Motor Fuel Tax exemption. If you are a registered farmer you may qualify for a Motor Fuel tax exemption, as well as a Carbon Tax exception from dyed fuel. You will need to complete and submit to the Co-op a FIN458 form. Complete the forms and send them to fuel@slocanvalley.crs
1c) Call 250-226-7433 to speak with our Castlegar Bulk Petroleum Department to place your order. Payment is required upon delivery, so a credit card will need to be provided at time of order to secure your payment. Alternatively, members can apply for credit for 30-day payment terms.
2) MAKE A PURCHASE AS A NON-MEMBER
2a) Call 250-226-7433 to speak with our Castlegar Bulk Petroleum Department and place your order. Payment is required upon delivery, so a credit card will need to be provided at time of order to secure your payment.
